Orchid -Thai in Oppenheim

Unfortunately not convincing. We had two soup and one duck. A soup container was damaged during delivery and the soup was full of pieces of plastic. Soups were not our taste and we have already been able to test some soups .. 2 stars because they duck convinced me.

The meat had a very strange smell and taste, I couldn't eat it, it was probably better that way.

Ordered food - delivery in the specified time - everything that was still hot and crispy was specially packed so that it was crispy too! As long as eating out is not possible on site: a good alternative 👍

The presentation and the ambience are really impressive. Unfortunately, the food can't keep up. Too much breading, the sauce tastes like it comes from a tube, there is still room for improvement in terms of taste in many places. The service is always trying. We had hoped for more ...

It took us 1 hour to serve us the food. The description didn't really match the food on the plates. Unfortunately, the service was also poor. Ordering drinks was almost impossible as the service staff was completely overwhelmed. The price is also set too high for this quality. Something like that can last in Oppenheim, but no chance in the city ..

Very good and authentic food. Great decorated and friendly staff. Sometimes a little overwhelmed when there is a lot going on, but the food makes up for it. Accordingly, 5 stars absolutely rightly!

The restaurant is a real asset to Oppenheim and offers an alternative. The ambience is tastefully designed, the service very friendly. The prices are reasonable. Reservation highly recommended.

This is good Thai restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is prompt and efficient. It is located on the square of the old town. They have seating both outside on the square and inside. It is a good place to bring children.

Gastro pearl in Oppenheim! Without great expectations we felt like an Asian dinner and were more than surprised! Extremely friendly wait staff, a great menu and wonderfully designed interior. We were passing through and stopped here to eat. We were served extremely nice and courteous. The waitress and the boss take time for their guests even though the restaurant was full. The food was excellent, arrived hot and tasted great. Clear difference to the usual Thai restaurants.

This restaurant is wonderful. I was looking for a vegan meal in Oppenheim on a Monday (which is not easy to find here). The owners of Orchid Thai happened to notice this and cooked a wonderful meal for me despite their day off and a private appointment. I am really impressed by the hospitality and warmth. The curry tasted great. I've eaten a lot of curries, but this was one of the best I've had :) I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for your effort, I felt very comfortable and welcome. This experience of my trip will be remembered :)

The Orchid Thai is a real asset to Oppenheim ❤️. The food is super fresh and delicious and we are happy to respond to every single request. The selection is large and there is really something for every taste. Ranga and Renu are two such personable people, you just like to visit and are always treated friendly. Very nice to eat on site. BUT the 5 times we ordered to pick up was EVERYTHING wrong ... if requested, this will of course be changed, but we can now assume that one of our orders is ALWAYS wrong. It is a pity, because it tastes very good and you try to please the guest.

Thai restaurant with Asian flair The Orchid Thai is a great alternative to the usual restaurants in the area and offers very delicious food in 2 different restaurant sections: normal restaurant (here the shoes stay on) or in the Thai area (without shoes, on the floor / very original and cozy). In any case, you should reserve in advance. The restaurant, which has been newly opened since 12.12.2019, is very busy and without a reservation you have to accept longer waiting times. The menu offers a good selection for every taste. The service is very friendly, depending on the table occupancy you have to wait a bit, but still be careful. I wish the Ochid Thai team every success and continued hospitality!
